The Open Class aims to facilitate a deeper connection to music, allowing participants to experience it with the intensity that corresponds to its creation. This program offers an experiential approach to significant works, making them more accessible and relatable to all. Promoted by the Municipal School of Music of Girona, the activity is open to anyone interested in classical music and its surrounding humanistic aspects. The series includes multiple sessions where selected compositions will be listened to and discussed, led by Rafael Esteve Alemany, the project's creator since 1998. The course is divided into three trimesters, covering specific themes, and sessions mainly take place at La Marfà, with some held at the Auditorium prior to concerts. Participants can sign up for individual sessions or the entire course.
