The project "Exploring Intersectionality" engages the medium of ceramics in a participatory mural creation, initiated by the mid-level pottery students in collaboration with the SAI LGTBI+ and the SIAD from Baix Empordà. During the INUNDART festival, visitors are invited to explore their experiences with discrimination, contributing to the mural collaboratively. This interactive artwork will evolve as community members share their stories, with the final piece representing a collective response to the theme of intersectionality. Once completed, the mural will be dried, fired, glazed, and exhibited in various locations, serving as a powerful symbol of unity and resilience within the community. This project not only fosters creativity but also encourages discussions around discrimination and inclusivity, bridging art with social consciousness.
