Book Presentation: Daniel Can
Join us for the presentation of the book "Daniel Can" with Silvia Planas, director of the Jewish History Museum, writer Oriol Molas, and author Mònica Expósito. The story is set in 13th century Mallorca, a vibrant island at the crossroads of the Mediterranean. It follows Daniel Can, a young Genoese seafarer who is taken in by a Jewish family and becomes enamored with the city and its rich culture. As he builds strong relationships, including with the royal family, he faces challenges that test his loyalty and values, navigating political turmoil, personal trials, and even a devastating plague. This event offers a fascinating glimpse into a historical narrative of adventure, companionship, and resilience. Attendance is free, but prior registration is required.
