World Poetry Day Celebration

Join us for a vibrant celebration of World Poetry Day in honor of the poetry of Blai Bonet, Clementina Arderiu, and Joan Alcover. This year's event, themed around the complexities of life and death explored in their works, invites artistic voices to unite in a festival of expression. The event embraces themes of mortality, illuminating how these poets address life, death, and the cycles of nature. With a mix of performances from poets, musicians, and artists including Portal Fuga, Oriol Sauleda, and Laia Santanach’s Company, attendees will be brought together in a communal experience that reflects on our intertwined heritage of creativity and cultural rich narratives. The event serves as a reminder of our connection to the past while inviting a new spring of vibrant creativity. We’ll also provide interpretation in Catalan Sign Language courtesy of the Girona Deaf Association. Celebrate with us as we welcome spring and foster a joyful atmosphere of poetic expression.
