The workshop 'Mira qui parla - Titelles del món' aims to address the underrepresentation of racialized individuals and the ways they are depicted. Through engaging in the creation of their own puppets, children will explore and showcase a true representation of the diverse world around them. Participants will not only craft their unique puppets but will also have the opportunity to perform in a mini-theater setting, encouraging creativity and imagination. Guided by a facilitator, children will express ideas, emotions, and narratives that reflect their daily experiences. This interactive activity not only serves as an artistic outlet but also fosters discussions about ethnic diversity in our society. Targeted towards children aged 6 and older, this workshop invites young participants to voice their stories and envision the world through their own eyes, nurturing empathy and understanding of cultural differences.
