Join us for a unique guided tour titled 'LGBTQ+ Perspectives at the MAC', which explores the intersections of sexual and gender diversity through archaeology. This itinerary challenges traditional narratives and the notion of objectivity in often accepted historical perspectives. During the tour, we will examine the biases embedded in cultural spaces that frequently promote hegemonic and conservative social models. The presentations will encourage participants to reflect on how outdated viewpoints still dominate the narrative of history and knowledge transmission in many cultural institutions. The guided tour offers a critical look at how these themes are represented in the exhibitions at the Museu d'Arqueologia de Catalunya and aims to foster a more inclusive understanding of our collective past.
