Exhibition: Palau Güell Furniture

The 'Palau Güell: Insights into Furniture' exhibition is a permanent showcase located in the sleeping quarters of the Palau, integrated into the overall visitor experience. It features original furniture that adorned the Palau during the Güell family's residency, along with notable modernist pieces from the Barcelona Provincial Council. The exhibition is divided into two sections: 'Güell's Decorations' and 'Modernism Designers,' reflecting the building's two main historical phases. The first phase pertains to Eusebi Güell and his family, while the second phase, beginning in 1945, marks the Palau's transition to the Barcelona Provincial Council—a center dedicated to promoting Gaudí and Catalan Modernism, as well as acquiring furniture from key craftsmen of that era. The exhibition also offers accessibility features, including sign language support and QR codes linked to corresponding videos for each display.
