Cinemàtica Performance
Cinemàtica is a unique performative installation that explores the genealogy of movement in both labor and everyday life. Based on the theories of Raymond Duncan, brother of the renowned dancer Isadora Duncan, this performance aims to revisit and reinterpret his legacy in a contemporary context. The piece serves as an 'intermedia' space where the boundaries between audience and performers blur, allowing for a dynamic interplay of speculative fiction, live music, poetry, and dance. It challenges traditional notions of performance through a critical lens, emphasizing a non-epistemological approach to movement. The artistic team behind Cinemàtica includes the company Nyamnyam alongside various talented contributors, ensuring a rich auditory and visual experience. Performers such as Iver Zapata and Elena Carvajal bring their craft to life in this compelling exploration, which is presented in Catalan and runs for approximately 60 minutes.
