World Poetry Day Celebration

Celebrate World Poetry Day with a vibrant event that showcases the beauty and diversity of poetic expression. Participants will recite the poem 'Bird Fire' in various languages spoken by learners of Catalan, alongside interpretations in sign language. In addition, students from secondary schools and the writing workshop at the Cultural Center La Merce will share their poems inspired by the works of Blai Bonet. This collaborative gathering will highlight the power of poetry as a tool for communication and creativity, fostering connections among a wide range of speakers, including participants from Astrid 21, an association supporting individuals with Down syndrome.
