Goya's Engravings Exhibition Tour

Join us for guided tours of the exhibition 'Volaverunt: Goya's Engravings from the Contemporary Era,' featuring a unique collection housed in Girona. This exhibition provides an extraordinary chance to view all four major series of Goya's engravings produced between 1797 and 1819: Caprichos, Disasters of War, Tauromaquia, and Proverbios (also known as Disparates). The prints come from the Mataró Museum's collection and were printed at the National Printmaking Workshop in Madrid during the Spanish Civil War. The edition, limited to 150 copies, is highly valued for its print quality. Tours will be held every Saturday at noon.
