This hands-on workshop focuses on creating vertical gardens and green walls. Participants will learn the essentials of building a vertical garden at Can Ninetes. The course covers anchoring vertical profiles to walls, assembling support structures, mounting gabions, preparing plant substrates, and installing irrigation systems. In addition, attendees will explore culinary, aromatic, medicinal, decorative, and horticultural plants suitable for vertical gardening. The workshop also includes practical planting sessions for green walls and discusses innovative ways to implement these practices in home settings, such as balconies, micro-gardens, and urban terraces, with a focus on recycling initiatives. The instructor, Aniol Galdón Desoy from Arbres Empordà, will guide participants through the entire process, enhancing their gardening skills in an urban context.
