Tomba Tambors Batucada for Youth

Tomba Tambors is a batucada project aimed at children from primary school (5th grade) to 2nd year of ESO in the Pont Major neighborhood. The group meets weekly to learn and practice rhythms, which they later perform in local events. This initiative, part of the Pont Major Gegantona festival, aims to promote popular culture among youth. It connects children with Catalan traditions, reinforcing their sense of belonging within the community. Participants become central figures in local celebrations and cultural life, while also developing musical skills, teamwork, and artistic expression.
