Duo Rubio-Franch and Andrea Peirón Concert

The duo of Maite Rubio and Míriam Franch, established in 1996, has garnered recognition through performances at numerous national and international music festivals. Their compelling live renditions combine bold, energetic interpretations with delicate musicality. In 2023, they were commissioned by the Musiques en Balade festival to collaborate with cellist Andrea Peirón, culminating in the trio’s first performance titled 'Essences.' The concert features melodies, rhythms, and harmonies drawn from the rich Spanish folklore, highlighting the essence of the masterpieces by iconic composers such as Manuel de Falla, Enric Granados, and Isaac Albéniz. This captivating and expressive performance invites the audience on a journey through the vivid colors and impressionist flavors of early 20th-century Spanish music.
