This basic computer skills course comprises four one-hour sessions aimed at helping participants recognize and configure their laptops, navigate the internet safely, create and manage a Google account, and use essential digital tools for everyday tasks. Pre-registration is required. During the first session, you will personalize your laptop settings, manage files, create folders, and organize your workspace effectively. The second session focuses on safe and efficient internet navigation, including how to use search engines, manage passwords, and identify reliable websites. In the third session, you will learn to manage your Google account and utilize its core tools such as Gmail, Drive, Docs, and Photos practically and securely. The final session allows for Q&A and exploration of additional functions of interest.
