Exploring River Ecosystems

Join us for an engaging family event focused on understanding fish and other aquatic life in the Ter River, especially as it flows through the Pont Major neighborhood. This interactive session will explore the natural value of local waterways, while also discussing the environmental challenges they face, such as invasive species and barriers to river connectivity. This activity is part of the Girona 4 Rius Lliure de Barreres project, funded by the Catalan Water Agency, aiming to restore riverbanks and improve the ecological status of wetlands.
