Women in Our History Exhibition

The 'Women in Our History' exhibition uncovers the contributions of fifty significant yet often overlooked women in the history of the Catalan-speaking territories. By presenting this historical research through images and concise texts, the exhibition highlights the essential roles that women have played from Prehistory to the mid-20th century. Many of the featured figures have been carefully selected from hundreds of possible candidates, using innovative digital techniques that combine artificial intelligence and image editing to reconstruct their likenesses. This project is driven by researchers from Valencia and Barcelona, resulting in educational materials and workshops. The exhibition encourages visitors to reassess the past and recognize the vital contributions of women in shaping our shared history.
