Coinciding with the Corpus festival and celebrating the 700th anniversary of the first documented Corpus procession in Barcelona, the Diocesan Museum inaugurates this exhibition curated by Amadeu Carbó and Nil Rider. Through a careful selection of significant works from the museum’s collection, this show provides insight into the longstanding history of this festival and how medieval processions have encouraged society to participate orderly across generations. The exhibit also features elements of intangible heritage related to Corpus festivities.
