Week-End Photography Exhibition

The exhibition 'Week-End' is part of the 32nd edition of the Maridatges cycle, presented by Fundació Foto Colectania in collaboration with Bodegues RODA. This project by valencian photographer Gala Font de Mora uniquely explores the phenomenon of the drive-in movie theaters still operating in Spain. With an evocative cinematic style, Font de Mora captures the often-forgotten essence of these spaces, documenting both the venues and their audiences, the unique atmosphere, and the interplay between public and private experiences during film screenings. Through her lens, she invites viewers into the intimate world of these drive-ins, illustrating the nostalgic rituals and communal experiences of cinema that evoke memories of a time gone by.
