Theatre 'Heartbeats'

What do we make of the idea, expectation, and desire of this being? Statistics show that one in four pregnancies does not come to term. This indicates that we are all directly or indirectly affected by pain that today has no name, time, or space. It remains confined to the silence of our body's intimacy. The play is a resonance box of heartbeats that once were, aiming to create a luminous rhythm that nurtures and supports us through this often-silent grief. Perinatal grief. It was the day of the death, and her womb was a tomb. In the operating room, no comfort. 'Everything is very neat, ma'am!' She remains silent and longs: she had never felt unclean.
