"L'estiueig" is an adaptation of Carlo Goldoni's trilogy "La villeggiatura," one of the most lively and carefree comedies by the popular Venetian playwright. Through the intersection of two families eager to have the most extravagant summer vacation possible, Goldoni portrays the clash between old traditions and ever-changing new trends with his direct and popular style. With a reduced number of actors, multiple characters will fill the Maldà theater, telling this humorous story filled with critique, music, and the usual artisanal touch of the company. This new adaptation shakes up a classic of universal theater, prompting reflection on daily rituals, absurdly ostentatious vacations, submissive consumerism, and routine breaks that could change everything. The artistic team includes a production by Els Pirates Teatre, dramaturgy by Adrià Aubert and Carla Coll, based on Goldoni's "La villeggiatura," with music by Ariadna Cabiró and a cast including Núria Cuyàs, Ricard Farré, Laura Pau, and Arnau Puig.
