Can you feel at home if you are not allowed to be yourself? Eline Arbo, artistic director of the Internationaal Theater Amsterdam, adapts James Baldwin's classic: "Giovanni's Room." The play explores themes such as sexuality, internalized homophobia, and social pressure, posing the question: can you feel at home if you are not allowed to be yourself? After three months, David's fiancée returns, forcing him to make a decision.
