Student Art Exhibition: Portraits and Self-Portraits

The students of 2nd year ESO from IES Valldemossa present an art exhibition titled 'The Portrait and the Self-Portrait' at the reception area of the exhibition space. Over the course of a week, students explored descriptive writing techniques alongside visual language, culminating in the creation of their own portraits. Activities included photography-based self-descriptions, engaging games to guess famous personalities from their written descriptions, a study of renowned art portraits, and creative reinterpretations of famous artists like Arcimboldo and Warhol. This exhibition celebrates their artistic journeys and showcases the creativity and expression of the participating students.
