The Texas Theatre hosts one of the season's premieres: "Permagel," the adaptation of the acclaimed novel by Eva Baltasar, published by Club Editor in 2018, directed by the award-winning Victoria Szpunberg, and starring the breakout actress Maria Rodríguez Soto. Eva Baltasar's story became a literary phenomenon thanks to its direct voice and dark humor, capable of addressing taboo subjects such as lesbian desire, masturbation, suicide, and motherhood. The theatrical adaptation, signed by Victoria Szpunberg and Albert Pijuan, and co-produced by Dagoll Dagom and Barc, is one of the major bets of the season: a piece that equally disturbs and moves, inviting the audience to look inward without filters.
