Can love evade the logic of consumption in a time when capitalism engulfs everything? How can we narrate 'what escapes' the hegemonic narrative and clichés? How do we create spaces where sexuality is not once again hijacked by dogma or authoritarianism? Born in Lima in 1975, she is the author of several books, including Sexografías, Llamada perdida, Atusparia, and Huaco retrato (all published by Penguin Random House). Her texts have appeared in various anthologies and have been translated into English, Portuguese, Polish, German, French, and Italian. She won the National Journalism Award in her country for an investigative report on a case of gender violence. She is the creator of various literary performances that she has staged alongside her family and the play Qué locura enamorarme yo de ti.
