Sardana Dance Workshop

Join us for an immersive workshop on the beloved Catalan dance, the sardana, which symbolizes unity and brotherhood in Catalonia. This workshop offers an opportunity for participants to learn how to dance sardanas through a variety of interactive elements. You will discover how to count and share in this traditional dance, as well as understand the concept of 'tiratge', an essential component of creating a sardana circle. Stepping into the circle during a sardana performance is encouraged, allowing participants to experience the joy of communal dancing. This workshop is organized by Foment Sardanista Andreuenc and CMCPSA, aiming to connect individuals with Catalan culture through dance.
