This exhibition presents the first major retrospective of Ángel Jové, an influential artist known for his boundary-defying works that explore various artistic movements including arte povera and conceptualism. The exhibition showcases a significant part of Jové's production, creating an intimate space to engage with the artist’s multifaceted contributions to contemporary art. With pieces that blend imagery, poetry, and object, Jové’s works serve as a form of resistance that challenge social norms in Western societies. The exhibition features a chronological but non-linear presentation of Jové's interconnected works, which promote dialogue across time and context. Among his groundbreaking achievements, Jové co-created Spain's first audiovisual artwork in 1969, adding a layer of complexity to his artistic legacy.
