Open Barri: Cultural Initiative in Barcelona 2026
Open Barri is a cultural and architectural initiative part of the Barcelona 2026 project, led by 48h Open House Barcelona. The initiative consists of three editions in 2026, each focusing on a different neighborhood and lasting about 15 days of activities culminating in a weekend of open buildings and spaces. The three editions include: Winter Edition in Nou Barris from February 16 to March 1, 2026; Spring Edition in La Marina from April 13 to April 26, 2026; and Summer Edition in Vallvidrera from June 15 to June 28, 2026. During each edition, there will be various activities such as talks, workshops, and discussions designed to engage the community and highlight the unique architecture of each neighborhood. This initiative provides residents and visitors with the opportunity to explore and appreciate the architectural heritage of Barcelona.
