In commemoration of the 30th anniversary of Cia. Roberto G. Alonso and as part of the Metropolitan Dance Festival 2025. Synopsis: Taking Lulu, the fascinating character created in the late 19th century by Wedekind, as a starting point and source of inspiration, we wanted to delve into the desires and thoughts that our society hypocritically disguises as unconfessable secrets, perversions, and taboos. Lulu is the ideal vehicle to show them, precisely because she has none. She appears radical, without ideals, focused on desire, sensuality, and pleasure... Like painted by Munch, Kirchner, or Nolde, Lulu, expressionist, is an unconscious representative of disorder, chaos... full of sensuality and eroticism. Surrounded by mystery, with great annihilating power, Lulu brings us closer to destruction, to the vulnerable border that separates life and death. Recommended age: from 16 years.
