International Women's Day Events

To commemorate International Women's Day, a diverse range of activities are organized, focusing on empowerment and awareness of gender violence. The event features a traditional calçotada (a local culinary dish), informative talks addressing violence against women, and a descriptive dance session to enhance creativity and expression. In addition, there will be a concentration of women at the community center to celebrate their contributions and raise awareness about women's rights. A women's football tournament promises to encourage teamwork and athletic spirit among participants. Organized by the Women's Group of Trinitat Vella and various collaborators, these activities aim to create a space for women to come together, reflect, and advocate for change in society, while promoting solidarity within the community.
