We kick off the third season of "Interior Maconda," the interview program of Radio Maconda, recorded at the radio studio of the Gabriel García Márquez Library. In "Interior Maconda," once a month, journalist and writer Albert Lladó converses with prominent figures in literature, art, science, and thought, in a dialogue that can be followed live from the studio. Flavita Banana is Flavia Álvarez-Pedrosa Pruvost, born in 1987 and a true Barcelonian at heart. She studied Arts and Design and Illustration at the Escola Massana, until at 26, abandoning the idea of being an artist, she began publishing her graphic jokes on social media, blending the everyday, feminism, and politics with a bold style. In 2016, she left office life thanks to collaborations with magazines like SModa, Orgullo y Satisfacción, Revista Mongolia, and finally, El País, where she has been publishing every other day since 2019. She has published six books: "Las Cosas del Querer" (Lumen, 2017), "Archivos Estelares" (¡Caramba!, 2017), "Archivos Cósmicos" (¡Caramba!, 2019), "Archivos Espaciales" (¡Carambra!, 2020), "Archivos lunares" (¡Caramba!, 2022), and "Archivos expiatorios" (¡Caramba!, 2025). She has won several awards, including the Mingote Prize, marking the first time in fifty years that it was awarded to a woman. Schedule: Saturday at 12:30.
