Forn Giralt: 100 Years of History
Join an in-depth interview with Jaume Fernández Giralt, a living memory of trade and its ties to the community, conducted by Raúl Hernández Villasol, anthropologist and historian from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. This event will explore the significance of local commerce through the lens of Giralt’s experiences and insights, revealing the dynamic relationship between local businesses and the community over the past century. Special emphasis will be placed on how trade has evolved and its impact on community identity and cohesion. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of the historical context and contemporary relevance of these themes.
