Exhibition: 'Transitar La Quema'

'Transitar La Quema' originates from an initial action titled 'La Quema,' conducted in a Galician village within the A Baixa Limia region, as part of initiatives by A Casa do Pozo. This process was documented through images and sound recordings, pivotal to the development of the current project. The artworks, which engaged with themes of symbolic destruction, purification, and renewal, were burned in October 2024 following their display in various homes and spaces throughout the village. The exhibition explores these themes in dialogue with urban spaces and architecture that will be intervened in Barcelona, fostering a reflection on transformation and the interplay between tradition and contemporary practice.
