The installation invites visitors into an immersive space reminiscent of a Barceloneta apartment that served as a refuge and meeting point for young resistors in 1941. Known as 'The Oasis', this site housed three young women living there permanently and a fourth closely related to the group. In this 'home room', they held meetings and prepared propaganda materials. The constant noise of the typewriter raised suspicions among neighbors, leading to the police discovering the clandestine nucleus on August 22, 1941, where young women were detained, imprisoned, and tortured.
