Exhibition 'The Berlin Wall: A Divided World'

'The Berlin Wall: A Divided World' exhibition chronicles the history of the Wall, from its construction to its fall, exploring three decades of separation and its crucial role during the Cold War. Featuring more than 200 original objects, including fragments of the Wall, videos, and emotional testimonies from those who witnessed this era, it offers a unique experience that deepens our understanding of this historical event. The collection, consisting of over 200 original items, comes from more than 20 international institutions, including the Berlin Wall Foundation, the Allies Museum, and the Hiroshima Peace Museum. Among the highlights are Wall fragments and personal objects used by Berlin inhabitants for smuggling or communication, reflecting the direct consequences of the opposing systems. Visitors can also discover items illustrating the global dimension of the conflict, such as those used in propaganda, espionage, and nuclear warfare.
