The temporary exhibition 'Opening Doors, Raising Curtains: What, Who, How of Accessibility in Performing Arts' is a current state of affairs that allows us to learn about and celebrate good practices while highlighting needs and future possibilities. Curated by researcher Gonzalo Iturregui Gallardo, the exhibition showcases well-known accessibility services and devices in the performing arts, as well as other types of accessibility and new proposals for creating accessible performing arts with the involvement of artists with disabilities. The MAE aims to go beyond collections and storage to address relevant contemporary issues for creators and audiences alike.
