L'Antitéte is an anthology of poems by Tristan Tzara written between 1916 and 1932. The earliest poems coincide with the inception of the Dada movement founded by Tzara, while the later ones were penned during his active involvement in Surrealism. First published in 1933, it was reissued as a bibliophile book in three volumes in 1949 by Bordas éditeur in Paris. The first volume, illustrated by Max Ernst, features the significant correspondence between Tzara and Joan Miró, who illustrated the volumes with innovative techniques. This exhibition not only showcases the original publication but also highlights the collaborative and experimental spirit of both artists. Visitors will immerse themselves in Tzara's words and the visual elements created by Miró, experiencing a unique cross-disciplinary dialogue that resonates across artistic mediums.
