The works of Isaias Griñolo (Huelva, 1963), a visual artist and curator, tackle opposing themes through the interconnections of memory, ecology, flamenco, art, and poetry. Since 2011, he has been developing a multidisciplinary proposal named contemporary_history, showcased across various galleries and spaces nationally and internationally such as Secession (Vienna), Auguste Orts (Brussels), the Centre Georges Pompidou (Paris), and MNCARS (Madrid). Notable projects include 'The Struggles of Death' / MEP (2010-2011), as well as film essays like 'Deep Spain (from Ortega y Gasset to Rocío Jurado)' (2018), 'Auschwitz on the Beach' (2019), and '135 - 47 = 88' (2021). In live cinema, he created 'Toxic Chants,' a series performed for the collective Los Flamencos, featuring poet Antonio Orihuela and singer Niño de Elche.
