The 'De Calor' exhibition, curated by Jorge Luis Marzo, revisits a unique magazine published in Barcelona during a transformative cultural period from 1993 to 1996. Featuring contributions from artists, intellectuals, and activists, the magazine encapsulated the zeitgeist of collective production and reflection. The exhibition brings together materials from the original editions, providing historical context while showcasing a variety of practices that diverged from the celebratory model of postmodern Barcelona. It aims to offer insights into alternative narratives of that era. Additionally, a special fourth issue of the magazine will be published, dedicated to the role of ventriloquy in contemporary political production—a long-awaited issue that subscribers anticipated thirty years ago but never received.
