This exhibition marks the culmination of nearly two decades of work by the organization 'Construint a la Sala,' celebrating the vital role children play in shaping urban spaces. Hosted at the Museu d'Història de Barcelona, it provides a retrospective view that showcases how architecture and education can serve as tools for urban participation and transformation. The showcase includes a wealth of historical materials from the organization’s journey, spanning from 2007 to 2026, featuring models, plans, drawings, photographs, and audiovisual materials created by children. Additionally, the exhibition highlights contributions from ten invited international cities, fostering a dialogue about diverse perspectives that prioritize children's voices in urban planning. It reinforces the core idea that children actively participate in the city not merely as observers but as integral contributors, shaping the future with their insights, questions, and proposals.
