Centenary Conference Series of Institut Tècnic Eulàlia

The Biblioteca de Catalunya will host a series of four conferences titled "Centenary of Institut Tècnic Eulàlia". This event commemorates the centenary of the educational center and includes an accompanying exhibition titled "Institut Tècnic Eulàlia: cent anys," which showcases its historical significance. The institute was born out of a progressive educational movement in early 20th-century Catalonia, providing a secular and modern education environment. Throughout its history, it has navigated the challenges of war and dictatorship, becoming a sanctuary of freedom and tolerance. The series features speakers discussing various elements related to the institute's foundation, alumni experiences, and artistic contributions. Attendees will also have the opportunity to stream the lectures online via the Biblioteca de Catalunya's YouTube channel.
