'The Stuntmen' is an operatic project featuring a group of film specialists exploring and questioning the classic notion of masculinity through the hero figure. This project aims to examine what ideology is hidden behind the hero character, what patterns of masculinity are perpetuated, and the influence of the heroic male ideal. Centering on a collective that exemplifies or works—consciously or unconsciously—with the hero myth, stuntmen perform dangerous scenes in film productions. The notion of danger here is crucial: the hero is one who exposes and risks, attempting to surpass the limits of their physical and spiritual condition. Artistic sheet: Libretto by Nao Albet and Marcel Borràs; stage direction by Nao Albet and Marcel Borràs; collaboration in dramaturgy Gabriel Ventura. Co-production: Teatro Real, Teatros del Canal, Lliure Theatre, and Gran Teatre del Liceu. Gran Teatre del Liceu Symphony Orchestra, conductor Fernando Velázquez.
