On the perimeter wall of La Model, new openings have been created where citizens can see the courtyard of the fourth gallery and enjoy the interior space of the former prison. Through the windows, an artistic installation by Boa Mistura draws the phrase "Beyond the walls, the street," a fragment of a poem by Josep Domènech i Avellanet, who was a prisoner of La Model from 1939 to 1942.
