'Àgores Barcelona' Dance Exhibition

The 'Àgores Barcelona' project brings dance into the streets, filling the metropolitan area with artistic expression and shared movement. It begins with 'INSECTA' by Pauline Berndsen Danse, a solo performance featuring a hybrid being that embodies both a praying mantis and a human, communicating themes of instinctual fluidity and abruptness. This piece explores the concept of transformation as a vital act of adaptation for survival. Collaborating with the Quartiers Danses festival, the performance showcases Berndsen's unique vision. Following 'INSECTA', Argentine choreographer Josefina Gorostiza presents 'Fervor', which is a collaborative effort with students from Barcelona's Conservatori Superior de Dansa. This piece, originally created for the Ballet Contemporáneo at the Teatro de San Martín in Buenos Aires, has been reimagined for the Àgores project. It serves as a learning environment for students aiming to establish new relationships and create distinctive mappings of movement.
