Workshop: Creativity and Loops for String Instruments

This workshop explores the basic equipment for playing with a looper, including amplification, loop pedals, and effects, and presents techniques for creating solid and expressive loops, with resources and sound examples. It shows how to construct accompaniments, bass lines, and harmonies to enhance the sound of string instruments, and how to interpret arrangements with a looper both solo and in groups. It is aimed at string instrumentalists of different styles, and musicians and educators interested in new creative resources. Led by Coloma Bertran, violinist, composer, and educator.
