Urban Evolution of Girona: 1850-2050 Exhibition

The exhibition titled 'Girona Griva, Blava i Verda' marks the celebration of Girona's 2,100th anniversary by outlining the urban evolution of this vibrant city from the mid-19th century to the present and looking towards its future. It features an extensive collection of over a hundred original plans, historical documents, drawings, photographs, and reproductions that illustrate Girona's major urban planning milestones, from the demolition of the walls to the development of various neighborhoods like Devesa and the Old Town. Visitors can explore specific projects that have shaped the character of distinct areas, including the Archaeological Walk and the parks of Migdia and Central Rafael Maso.
