Toulouse-Lautrec Art Exhibit

The Museu d'Història de Girona hosts a guided tour of the exhibition 'A Beacon Between Two Worlds', featuring six artworks from the Musée Toulouse-Lautrec in Albi. This exhibit creates a dialogue between Toulouse-Lautrec and late 19th to early 20th-century artists, including Picasso and Nonell. With a diverse selection reflecting the city life and modernity, the visit explores how these artists portray urban and social transformations that resonate with today’s identities and experiences. Through interactive discussions, participants will engage with the art representing the modern life changes such as city expansions, social inequalities, and the representation of the female body.
