This talk examines how the summer vacations of Girona's children were a century ago. Through images, it reveals how summer leisure has changed, from the first municipal school colonies in the early 20th century and educational projects of the Second Republic to Francoist indoctrination, the arrival of scouting, and new educational leisure models that emerged with the democratic recovery.
