Portrait of an Apparition Installation

Through the "Portrait of an Apparition" project, community artists Alexander Vert and Clara Claus engage the local residents of Pont Major in a creative exploration of conceptual apparitions. Residents are invited to express their imagined apparitions through sound and visual mediums. Alexander captures the sounds collected while Clara uses clay, paint, and other materials to bring these creative visions to life. The pieces emerge in an immersive installation during the INUNDART festival, set within a wooden house where visitors uncover installations in the dark. Armed with flashlights, guests are encouraged to illuminate the works and leave their personal imprints on a community wall. This collaborative endeavor fosters an environment of shared creativity, where sounds, gestures, and artistic expressions converge, inviting each participant to contribute to the collective imaginative landscape.
