Phaedra grapples with her feelings for her stepson Hippolytus, but fights against them. Upon receiving false news of her husband Theseus's death, she confesses her love to a horrified Hippolytus. He escapes, as his true love is Aricia. This leads to the tragic consequences already narrated in Euripides' Hippolytus and also by Seneca. This is a theater reading club session, with prior registration at the library. Organized by: Biblioteques de Girona.
