Open Musical Classroom: F. Schubert

This musical classroom session focuses on immersing participants in the works of composer Franz Schubert, aiming to enhance the experience of classical music through an engaging and relatable approach. The initiative, supported by the Girona Municipal School of Music, invites anyone interested in classical music and its humanistic aspects to participate. Facilitated by Rafael Esteve Alemany, this program has been running since 1998 and aims to make grand compositions feel accessible and alive. It includes multiple sessions where attendees will listen to and discuss selected pieces, fostering an appreciation for the works while breaking down any barriers to understanding and enjoying classical music.
